New Garage Sale Dates

Date: September 17th, 2007

We apologize for the failure to put together the community wide garage sale this last weekend. There were a series of complications and events that did not come together in time to get it all organized.

That behind us, we are one again holding the event for this upcoming weekend. Signs will be posted, a newspaper spot will be taken out, and a flyer will be put in everyone’s mailbox. All you need to do is drag your junk, I mean goods to the end of your driveway and sip on some cold refreshments. The new dates are 9/20, 21 and 22. That is this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Let your neighbors know of the event, and look for the flyer’s in your mailbox!

Tree Pruning Ongoing

Date: August 6th, 2007

I spoke with the streets department this morning about the tree pruning progress in our neighborhood. She assured me that the final streets will get completed here shortly, but could not give a time line. She was at a conference all last week which contributed to the stop we have seen in pruning the trees. We will continue to follow up on this over the next couple weeks.

The tree pruning has been fantastic in the areas already completed. Sidewalks can now be utilized without ducking down below tree branches.

Upcoming Event: Garage Sale

Date: July 3rd, 2007

A community wide garage sale will be on September 13th through the 15th.

Tree Pruning

Date: July 3rd, 2007

Tree pruning has begun and will continue for the next several weeks. Trees located by streets will be trimmed back so not to interfere with walkways or streets. Any questions about the tree pruning can be directed to 776-6348.

The Blizzard of 2007

Date: February 14th, 2007

We appreciate everyone’s patience as the city of Noblesville catches up with plowing the many subdivisions around the city. At the time of writing the plows have (finally) come through Windwood. We do not usually have to deal with this amount of snow, and the snow drifts. Now that the plows have come through, please shovel out your mail boxes to allow the Postal service to deliver mail in a timely fashion. Also remember to keep your downspouts free of snow build up to prevent freezing and to allow proper drainage when all of this melts.
Again, we appreciate everyone’s patience with the plowing situation. Personally myself, I have been on the phone with the streets department about five times in the few days; and have had to shovel out one car stuck in the road. Thanks again!
